When you enroll in the Adventure WV program, you may choose one of several summer adventures. The cost of each program includes: food, transportation, equipment and instruction. Students who successfully complete the program will receive two or three credits.
In addition to the summer trip, Adventure WV organizes a variety of events and activities to provide participants opportunities to stay connected back on campus. Additional fall semester activities, which inlude a community service project and reunion picnic, are designed to bring your summer expedition group together again for more fun and adventure throughout the academic year!
Adventure WV is an alternative for University 101. However, you may be required to take a specific orientation course for a particular program or major. The following is a list of orientation programs that you maybe required to take: Engineering 199, Agriculture and Vet Science Orientation, Agriculture, Agriculture and Resource Economics, Careers in Natural Resource Management, Orientation to Honors, Orientation to EXCEL, Passkey, Trio, and Champs/Life Skills.
