Tuition covers many expenses
Room and board, cultural excursions and onsite transportation expenses are covered by the program tuition fee. For many students the program tuition is comparable to taking six credits on campus!
Amizade scholarships
Amizade offers tuition scholarships to qualified students based on financial need. In 2007, it is anticipated that 1 in 3 qualifying students will receive a scholarship of at least $250 toward their program fees.

University scholarships
Many colleges and universities offer scholarships for study abroad. A scholarship of $250 - $1000 will go a long way for a global service-learning program! Check with your study abroad office at your home institution to explore your options. Local organizations, agencies, and companies in your community may have scholarships as well.
West Virginia University Students - There are ongoing scholarship and financial aid options for the 2007 Global Service-Learning Programs.
Student Loans
Explore your financial aid options in terms of deferred loans from local banks, grants, and federal financial aid. Your Study Abroad Office and/or Financial Aid Office at your home institution can further discuss these options with you.
