Blackwater Bike and Service

Sunday, September 9 | Capacity: 10

Description:

Join Adventure WV for a full-day experience in Thomas, WV on the banks of the Blackwater River. You will spend half the day on a guided mountain bike ride and half the day volunteering with mountain bike trail maintenance and construction. The town of Thomas, WV is known for its arts, culture and food. Recently-developed mountain bike trails in the nearby park provide additional adventures in one of the most outdoor-friendly areas in West Virginia. The new trails are the perfect environment to learn some mountain bike skills or refine your existing skill set. Because the trails are still being developed, we will roll up our sleeves and put in a few hours of trail building and maintenance. Between the guided rides, instruction and trail work, aspiring riders are sure to walk away with new skills and experiences. We will also enjoy some great local food for lunch. Bikes and equipment provided (or bring your own). No prior experience required!
