Coy Belknap |

Calling all adventurous students at West Virginia University! October is here, and it's the perfect time to dive into the great outdoors with Adventure WV and the WVU Outdoor Education Center (OEC). Whether you're an aspiring outdoor enthusiast or a seasoned adventurer, these October programs offer fantastic opportunities to get outside, capture the regions best fall colors, and strengthen your connection with community and the outdoors.

Empowering Students Through Outdoor Education

Situated in the heart of the WVU Research Forest, just north of Coopers Rock State Forest, the WVU Outdoor Education Center is a multi-faceted facility dedicated to providing quality educational and aerial adventure activities. The facility includes the WVU Challenge Course, WVU Zip-Line Canopy Tour and the Adventure Basecamp Overnight Facility. Groups can select from single day zip-line canopy tour & aerial adventure activities, team-building events, STEM based zip-line programs or custom create their own overnight event. Programs are available for both the adventure seeking individuals and educational groups.

Night Time Canopy Tour Expereince

Students go ziplining at night at the WVU Outdoor Education Center as part of its Night-Time and Halloween Program Series.

Lo"WVU is the only university in the nation that can provide these types of program experiences for students. The fall season is such a special time in West Virginia. Its great we can provide these at affordable rates and with transportation" Coy Belknap - Director of Adventure WV
