Adventure WV manages over 13,000 square feet of indoor space, and oversees both the WVU Outdoor Education Center and WVU Outdoor Rec Center. AWV programs have also obtained special permits to operate on public lands in West Virginia, across the United States and around the world.
Adventure WV operates two on-campus facilities. The WVU Climbing Wall and Outdoor Recreation Center are two of the central hubs of engagement located in the WVU Student Rec Center.
Not just the hub for equipment rentals—the Outdoor Recreation Center also houses a resource center and a ski and bike shop. Our trained staff can assist you with equipment and the know-how to get outdoors.
