Haley Thigpen - Program Manager

Born and raised in eastern North Carolina, Haley received her B.S. of Interior Design from East Carolina University in 2022. She’s no stranger to the vibrant campus life at ECU, having worked in a hands-on collegiate setting within Campus Recreation, Residence Life, and Admissions since her junior year of undergrad. It was during her time as Graduate Assistant for Adventure Leadership at ECU that Haley's passion for the outdoors truly took shape. Through leading trips, facilitating challenge course experiences, and managing climbing wall operations, Haley saw firsthand how experiential education could transform individuals. Haley believes that "you find your people, you find yourself," a truth she’s seen reflected in her own experiences in the field.

Currently pursuing her Master's in Business Administration, Haley is dedicated to leveraging her love for the outdoors with her leadership ambitions. In her free time, you can often find her running trails, attending concerts, or watching a hockey game. Valuing the importance of laughter and connection, she is always looking to share a good joke or a fun story with others.
