How Do I Rent Gear?
- Gear rentals must be made in person and at the Outdoor Rec Center.
- The Outdoor Recreation Center is located inside the WVU Student Rec Center
on the Evansdale Campus.

Day Rate
A one day rate constitutes a rental pickup on one calendar day with a return by closing the following calendar day.
Weekend Rate
A weekend rate constitutes a rental pickup anytime on Friday during opening hours with a return by close of business the following Monday.
Week Rate
A week rate constitutes a rental pickup on one calendar day before closing with a return by closing on the following day one week in advance.

Where do I go to rent and/or pick-up equipment?
The Outdoor Recreation Center is located on the main floor of the Student Recreation Center
Who can rent equipment?
WVU students, faculty, staff, other affiliated employees and SRC members are eligible to rent equipment. Renters may also include rent for their family & non-WVU affiliated companions. Note that the WVU student, faculty, staff, affiliated employee or SRC member must be present when picking-up the equipment. The Renter is responsible for any damages or fees.
Do I need to clean my equipment before returning?
Yes. Renters are welcome to utilize the cleaning resources at the ORC during operational hours. If the equipment is returned dirty or wet, the renter will be charged a $10 cleaning fee.
What if I return the equipment late?
If the equipment is returned after the agreed upon due date, the renter will be charged the daily rental fee for every day late. Equipment not returned by the end of the semester it was rented in may be considered lost or stolen and will be charged the replacement fee. List of replacement fees available upon request.
What if I damage or lose the equipment?
If the equipment is returned damaged, a repair fee will be charged. If it is lost or destroyed, a replacement fee will be charged. A list of applicable fees is available at the rental center or upon request.
Adventure WV reserves the right to charge for damages, broken equipment and theft of equipment upon their professional evaluation and assessment.
