Morgantown's Outdoor Rental Center
Located trailside at mile 9.7 of the Mon River Rail Trail at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park's Walnut Street Landing, Morgantown Adventure Outfitters is open to the public and provides adventure seekers access to kayaks, paddle boards, PFDs, bicycles, helmets and more. Child and family-friendly equipment is available.
Hours of operation do vary by season, and are often daylight dependent. Special events and holidays may also impact operational hours. All times and dates listed below are subject to change.
Rentals must be returned within half an hour of closing.

Rental Details - How do I rent Gear?
- All gear rentals must be made in person, and operate on a first come, first serve basis.
- Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- Each participant will be subject to signing a rental agreement and release form.
- At this time, payments can only be accepted via our online check-out system.
- Cash and point of sale credit card swipes cannot be accepted.
- Users will need to have a device with a data/internet connection and QR code scanner in order to finalize their rental reservation
- A valid driver’s license or WVU ID is also required for renting equipment.

All rented equipment must be returned by closing (see hours above).
- Users who do not bring equipment back by the designated time will be charged a late fee.

Rates
All equipment rentals are charged at a flat rate for up to 3 hours of use. See rates above.
Max Late Fee
Maximum late fees are imposed whenever rental equipment is brought back after published rental hours. A maximum late fee is calculated by multiplying the total number of items rented by their maximum late fee amount. As an example, if a family rents 3 bikes, and brings them back after published hours, their total late fee would be $450.00 before taxes.

What if I damage or lose the equipment?
- If the equipment is returned damaged, users will be subject to a repair fee. If an item is lost or destroyed, a replacement fee will be charged.
- Users should contact Morgantown Adventure Outfitters if they believe they'll have an issue returning their gear.
