HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT:

Backpacking

Spend two nights in the backcountry exploring a portion of the Monongahela National Forest with your peers.

Camping

Explore participants spend their nights sleeping in tents! We utilize 6-person tents and backcountry shelters.

Whitewater Rafting

All our trips offer a rafting component! You’ll enjoy a day on the New River with all your peers guided by River Expeditions.

ALL FIRST-YEAR TRIPS ARE SIMILAR AT THEIR CORE.

Trips are $95 or less
All technical and camping equipment is provided
Require no prior experience
Offer 1 Fall academic credit
Establish a support system and community prior to stepping on campus
Include meaningful discussions about the college transition
Peer-led by highly trained student staff
