Serena is from Illinois and pursued her undergraduate degree in Biology at Illinois State University while working as a trip leader.
After the realization that she didn’t want to stop working in the outdoors she moved here to West Virginia to work towards her master’s degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Resources. With her free time, she enjoys rock climbing and hammocking out at Coopers Rock, as well board game nights with friends.
