PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST
While studying Hospitality & Tourism Management at WVU, Emily fell in love with the outdoors through participation of the Adventure WV program and the WVU Student Grotto (caving club). She travelled to Utah on S.O.A.R., adventured in New Zealand, and backpacked through Big Bend, TX. She served as the chairman of the caving club while documenting WV caves on a photography team.
After taking a few years to gain experience in restaurant management, outdoor education, and the blue collar trades, Emily has returned to WVU to oversee the logistics of Adventure WV. She runs the Outdoor Rec Center and the Morgantown Adventure Outfitters rental shops, and provides support to programs that Adventure WV facilitates.
In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy skiing, whitewater kayaking, and tending to their chickens.
