PROGRAM COORDINATOR
While studying Hospitality & Tourism Management at WVU, Emily fell in love with the outdoors through participation of the Adventure WV program and the WVU Student Grotto (caving club). She travelled to Utah on S.O.A.R., adventured in New Zealand, and backpacked through Big Bend, TX. She served as the chairman of the caving club while documenting WV caves on a photography team.
After taking a few years to gain experience in restaurant management, outdoor education, and the blue collar trades, Emily returned to WVU as the Program Support Specialist for Adventure WV. She earned her Master's degree in Higher Education Administration while providing logistical support to all areas of Adventure WV.
In her current role as Program Coordinator, she oversees guided trips and program support.
In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy skiing, whitewater kayaking, and tending to their chickens.
