PROGRAM COORDINATOR | FIRST-YEAR TRIPS

Marcedes is a proud student of the “school of life” (a term she uses to reference the various informal experiences that shape us as humans) and chooses to pursue life with a curious and adventurous spirit. She has a passion for connecting with people and values the opportunity to learn their stories – believing that we all have a story that matters.

She enjoys traveling, musicing, eating, tea drinking, encouraging and adventuring (preferably outdoors)! Marcedes was born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and is thankful that living in Morgantown allows her close proximity to her hometown. She earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Environmental Geography and completed her Masters of Social Work degree from WVU. Marcedes strives to model authenticity in her own life in hopes that this will create a safe space for others to do the same.
